Bereavement Support

It is a huge privilege to help support young people during some of the darkest of times through our specialised bereavement support. We support young people through bereavement and work with them to see wholeness and inclusion beyond bereavement.

This support can be accessed through the Student Support department.

We are pleased to be a member of the Childhood Bereavement Network, helping us to improve the quality and impact of our bereavement support even more. Our Bereavement Support offer is listed on the AtALoss website, itself a great source of support.

Bespoke Pastoral Support

We offer bespoke pastoral support to students of all ages. Whether it’s mentoring, behavioural interventions or self-perception programmes, there is a wide range of support that chaplaincy offers to students of all year groups.

These support mechanisms are reviewed regularly, and rated highly by students and staff.

Staff Support

School staff work really hard, and we love to support them through a range of projects and initiatives, culminating in our annual afternoon tea, which is free of charge to all staff!

Felixstowe School Chaplaincy exists for the whole school community, and this includes staff as well as students. Wholeness and inclusion extends to all!

Transition to High School

Can you remember your first day at high school? What did it feel like?

As young people move from primary school to high school, we can help support through our High School Ready workshops, the accompanying workbook, and a range of extra-curricular activities to help young people make new friends and try new experiences.
