As part of next year's 'Week of Prayer for Christian Unity', Boost has been asked to host an activity for teenagers. We're really excited about this, and hope you will be too!  'Pray a New Way' is an attempt to engage younger people with prayer. From 10am until 2pm, Boost Headquarters (12 Orwell Road) will be open for 11-18's, providing a series of interactive activities including arts and crafts, music and video, and live technology, all with the aim of praying for our town, our country and our world. Feel free to pop in for a few minutes or a few hours- there will be free fair trade tea, coffee and hot chocolate to 11-18's throughout the morning. Whether you've prayed your whole life, or never before, come and see what's on offer and what you can offer. |

While some schools in Felixstowe were closed due to industrial action, on Wednesday 30th November, Boost HQ opened its doors to years 7-13 to give them somewhere safe to be for the day. Between 10am and 2pm, around 20 young people used the centre as a space to meet with friends, chat with staff and play games. |

Unfortunately Boost HQ will be closed this Friday 18/11/11. This will affect both after school and evening clubs. Sorry folks! However, our evening club tomorrow evening (Thursday 17/11/11) will involve decorating some edible Christmas treats! Don't miss out. Boost HQ is also open for a few hours after the Christmas Lights switch-on in Felixstowe Town Centre. If you're 11-18, pop along to 12 Orwell Road after the switch-on for a go on the XBOX and a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. |

ALIVE! is a new town-wide music event for young people aged 11-18.  After a successful Easter gig night, the next one kicks off on Friday 9th December, 7pm at The Salvation Army (Cobbold Road, Felixstowe). Headlining the evening is a band called Sounds of Salvation who are on their 'Nuking the Fridge' tour.
